After working in the Human Resources/Hospitality field for 10 years, Berit set out on her own, with the help of her wonderful husband Greg, to open her own decorative painting company, G&B Creations, specializing in creating kids & baby rooms, decorative & flat painting, venetian and other plasters and faux finishes.
As the business grew, Berit then took on a partner to help expand even more by contracting business parking structures around LA (painting the P2's you see when you park :).
Business was going smoothly until one January day surprise. She became pregnant! "I can still do this." she thought as she went to estimates during her pregnency. Large painting jobs were tiresome and by 9 months pregnent she knew she needed to rest a bit. Logan was born Sept 26th, 2006. The third of 3 great kids. Krista - now 15 years old and Connor (step-son) 9 years old, and Logan now 18 months.
Staying at home to take of the family is her top priority, however, she managed to start a website, www.BabycakesBabyDesigns.com, selling custom baby onesies and gift baskets.
In January 2009, she started working part-time as an after school teacher. She enjoyed it so much, she has desided to continue that job and painting throughout the 2009-2010 year.
Free estimates are available Saturdays & Mondays. Estimates are calculated by area covered and detail needed. The more detail in a project, the more the cost. Minimum cost-$75.00
